Ecological Systems and Devices Annotation << Back ECOLOGICAL AND GEOCHEMICAL STATE OF WASTE-DUMPED URBAN SOILS Yu.S. Ivanova, L.V. Konovalova, E.V. Lychagin Тhe results of eco-geochemical assessment of the pollution level of urban soils (as an example of Ulyanovsk) impacted by unauthorized landfills (waste-dump sites) are presented. It is shown that indicators of anthropogenic pollution of the soil are anomalous concentrations of zinc, copper, lead and cadmium, both in gross and in mobile form, as well as the high content of organic matter and ammonia nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur.
