INFLUENCE OF GEOGRAPHICAL AND METEOROLOGICAL FACTORS ON THE FORMATION OF THE GENERATIVE SPHERE OF PLANTS OXYCOCCUS MACROCARPUS (AIT.) PERS. ON DEPLETED PEATLANDS OF THE UPLAND TYPE WHEN APPLYING FERTILIZERS IN THE CONDITIONS OF BELARUS |

The results of a comparative study in an experimental culture on recultivated areas of high-moor peat deposits that have retired from industrial exploitation in the Smolevichi district of the Minsk region are presented. and located 250 km north of the Dokshitsky district of the Vitebsk region. morphometric characteristics and fruit yield of O. macrocarpus cultivars of different maturation periods – early-ripening Ben Lear and late-ripening Stevens against the background of the application of Basacot Plus 6 mineral fertilizer and microbial drug MakloR in 5- and 10% concentrations, as well as foliar treatments with Ecogum-complex organic fertilizer.
In the fi rst year of research, which was characterized by an increased temperature background and an abundance of precipitation, a stimulating effect of fertilizers on the morphometric and production characteristics of cranberry fruits was revealed, most pronounced in the early ripening variety, which showed an increase in their size by 8-12% in length and 6-8% in width compared to the control only with the use of organic fertilizers, while in the late-ripening variety, an increase in the diameter of the fruit by 10 % was detected only when MakloR was applied. All types of fertilizers provided an increase in their average weight by 11–29 % and yield by 20–124 % with the highest efficiency of Ecogum-complex and Basacot Plus 6. fruits (by 15–17 and 52 %, respectively) and provided a more signifi cant increase in yield than with the use of 5 % MacloR (by 138 % versus 112 %) with absolute inefficiency in this regard of 10 % MacloR and Ecogum-complex.
Moderately cool and rainy weather of the 2020 season contributed to a signifi cant weakening of the infl uence of the tested agricultural practices on the morphometric and bioproductive characteristics of cranberry fruits. At the same time, in the Smolevichi region, the early-ripening variety showed a predominant decrease in relative to the control of their average weight by 9-10% when using Ecogum-complex and 10% MakloR, and its increase by 19 % was noted only with the introduction of Basacot Plus 6. In the lateripening variety there was a decrease in the average weight of fruits by 9–13 % only with the use of all types of organic fertilizers, while the opposite picture was revealed in the Dokshitsy region - an increase in this indicator by 32 % against the background of the application of mineral fertilizer and the absence of influence of organic fertilizers on it. At the same time, the increase in fruit yield was 3–18 times inferior to that in the previous season and amounted to only 6–33 % for the early-ripening variety, and 20–36 % for the late-ripening variety, with the highest values against the background of applying mineral fertilizer, which provided an increase in fruit yield only by 32 % in the absence of a significant effect of organic fertilizers on it. Based on a variant comparison in a two-year cycle of observations of the size of the increase in the yield of cranberries when using fertilizers, it was found that in the Smolevichi district, all tested agricultural practices contributed to its increase with the highest, and similar in both varieties, the effectiveness of applying the Basacot Plus 6 mineral fertilizer and treatments with Ecogumcomplex, then as in the Dokshitsy district, along with the mineral, the most effective was the use of 5 % MakloR, which was inferior to it in this regard by 1.5 times, with no effect on the productivity of the late-ripening variety Ekogum-complex and 10 % MakloR.
